In this episode, I talk with Nicola Williams a Jamaican-American woman about her quest to become a City Counselor of Cambridge. She is the founder and President of The Williams Agency, a boutique marketing firm that works with social and progressive causes and organizes community events large and small. Her events include the Boston Local Food Festival, Boston JerkFest, and the Local Food Trade show. With her extensive work with the Caribbean community as President of International Cambridge Carnival, we wanted to talk to her about what her candidacy will mean to the city of Cambridge and possibly to the residents of Boston.
